PRIMAVERA
2025
Summary
Primavera is my first project that I participated as a Concept Developer. It is a collection of the Noodity series created by Pasta Zaddy's Club (PZC). Noodity is a project that describes a pasta dish in a creative way, bridging the art of taste and the art of visual to create a fun experience for food lovers and art lovers. Like the name Noodity, the series emphasize the female beauty regardless of her body type and skin color. The sensuality in her femininity is preserved in clothes and shines even more under the studio light. This project aims to promote awareness of beauty standards, focusing on a healthy appearance and confidence, especially regarding carbohydrate consumption, emphasizing the vital connection between nutritious food and overall well.

Inspiration
The Pasta Primavera was actually an American dish created by Sirio Maccioni in New York city. The main ingredients are spring vegetables and cream, so the dish is called Primavera meaning Spring in Italy.
In Italy, one of the popular paintings that depict the season spring is by Sandro Botticelli. La Primavera portrays the central figure Venus, the goddess of love, and several other mythological figures that relate to the ideals of love, beauty, fertility, and growth.

The outfit is inspired by Flora, the Goddess of. She is wearing a white, long, silky dress with a lovely floral wreath, along with a floral necklace and a charming flower crown. I chose this dress because its flow adds a playful movement to the shoot. The sleeveless design highlights her shoulders and neck, creating a sensuality feel that perfectly matches the theme. Because the dress is simply a plain white dress, I took this opportunity to add real flowers to her body. I also added some bracelets to make it look more like a modern fashion.

For the makeup, I chose a bold color yet simple style to reserve the freshness and purity of the Spring spirit. Stephanie, the makeup artist, picked a vibrant pink, a classic spring hue that complements the model's skin tone beautifully. I also wanted to have flowers on her face to imply that the model is not wearing flowers, she is the flower.
Facial Artistry

To spring the soul of the photoshoot, I scattered flowers accross the ground. The background is an olive backdrop to imitate the dark forest depicted in the painting.
The ingredients of the Pasta Primavera, spring vegetables, were arranged as a flower bouquet.
